Visual Inspection - A detailed inspection of each surgical instrument is conducted to determine alignment, box-locks functionality, quality of appearance, indication of stress fractures and edge quality.
Alignment - Realignment of tissue forceps is performed to ensure smooth closing and correct locking for proper function. Adjustments will be made accordingly to all instruments, including splinter and platform forceps. In addition to forceps, micro pics are adjusted as needed for proper pitch alignment. Our repair procedure involves, aligning, deburring and re-tipping.
Refurbishing - Quality appearance is achieved through our unique refurbishing stations. Selective equipment techniques produce a high gloss chrome polish or satin finish that restores the instrument to it's original finish.
Surgical Instrument Sharpening - The sharpening of most surgical instruments to a like new condition requires the latest technology in honing components. The most common abrasives used to sharpen instruments and minimize metal loss are diamond wheels, diamond flex balls and diamond burrs, all of which we incorporate.
Ultrasonic Revitalization - Every instrument is required to go through our exclusive ultrasonic cleaning system, which revitalizes and restores them to their original finish. Our routine maintenance will facilitate the live and efficiency of your instruments and reduce repair and replacement costs.
